To my angel, my sweet Lady Blue,
As long as I live, I will cherish my memories of you and the things we did together. Treasures of riches, gold, and silver cannot compare to those last 4 months of your life. Even though they were physically and emotionally hard for us both, we shared a lasting friendship; deep, tender, and endearing. I love you and miss you, my dearest Lady Blue. You were my friend, my darling, my sweetie, my favorite. There is a place in my heart that will be forever yours. Someday we will be together again. Until then, you are, and always will be, My Special Angel.
from your loving mom, Rosemary
To My Lady Blue
You are my Special Angel
Sent from up above.
The Lord smiled down on me
And sent an Angel to love.
You are my Special Angel
Through eternity,
I'll have my Special Angel
Here to watch over me.

I have put Lady Blue at Rainbows Bridge. Here is the link

To
our dear sweet sisfur, Lady Blue,
We
miss you so very much. Our hearts are filled with
sorrow because you are gone from us. We know you are
at a better place, running free with no pain. We love
you, sweetest angel, and will never forget you.

To my sweet Lady Blue,
We became great friends, you and I. We would have to have our food bowls right next to each other. Mom had to watch us carefully when we ate because she would catch us trading. You'd sneak over to my dish and sniff it to be sure I wasn't getting more than you or something different. I liked that about you. You had spunk!
I always admired you and the things you did at CLAW, Fur and Fang, and then Petsburgh. You never stopped. Sometimes, late at night you would be at that computer, working away.
Then came the day that we joined the Friendship and Love guild at Petsburgh. We were going to be winkwinks, but never got to it. I wish we had. It would have made my life complete. I never understood why my life was spared--twice in fact. I was saved when I was taken from that shelter and then when Mom came and got me from the vet who refused to put me down because I had diabetes.

Looking back now, I think my purpose in life was to be with you at the end. I loved you, Lady Blue. Really loved you. That's why I stayed so close to your carrier. That's why I slept with my head on the bottom of the door frame--to be as close to you as I could get.
I miss you. I know that you are in a better place. I know that you are happy, pain free, and running free. But, boy, my heart hurts! It aches hard!
What do I do now? How do I go on without you, my dearest Lady Blue?
Your almost winkwink, who stayed with you until the end, who finds it hard to let you go, who loves you still,
Smokey
To my dearest litter sisfur, sweet Lady Blue,
We shared a lot together over the years. I always considered you my very best friend. I admired you and all the work you did for those cat clubs. You worked so hard. When you got the Blue Ribbon Pet Award at Petsburgh, I thought, "Well, finally, someone appreciates what you do."
But the things I liked best about you were your friendliness, your caring for the other cats at our house, and your love for me.
We slept and played together. We ran through the house, hid under the bed, and even crept up on Mom's bed at night to sleep next to her. She had her hands full with the two of us.
Now you are gone, but I feel your spirit still here. I feel you inside my heart where I think you will always remain. You are my sisfur, my best friend, my buddy, my joy, my life.
I am, and will remain, forever and ever,
Your Lady Brown
"Bestest Friend" Award

I was sitting here thinking
Just the other day
About what a great friend you are
And all the things I'd like to say.
I think you're special
And understanding, too,
You've got the heart of an Angel
And a faith that shines so true.
I'm glad we found each other
Friends Forever I do pray
If there was a "Bestest Friend's" Award
I'd send it to you right away!

When I first
met Lady Blue I was a young kitten at Claw and she was
very kind to me. Later when Claw had closed it's door we
met again at Fur and Fang and she was her own sweet
self. When it came time to reopen Petsburgh I could
think of only one who could help me out with the
reorganization of Petsburgh and set up the lists and
that was Lady Blue. When I asked her if she would be
able to help she jumped in with all paws and became my
right paw kitty and I don't know what I would have done
without her help and her warm smile of friendship. My
heart is sad knowing that I will never hear from this
wonderful kitty again but I am thrilled for her knowing
that she is no longer in any pain and she is healthy and
happy and among friends at the Rainbow Bridge,
Goodbye Dear
Lady Blue
Purrs,
Servo
It is the
wish of Lady Blue's family that her Blue Ribbon award be
placed on her memorial
Awarded to one member of Petsburgh each quarter. The recipient of this award is chosen by Servo for their contributions to Petsburgh and their kindness to all.
This quarter the award goes to Petsburgh Chaircat Lady Blue for without her help Petsburgh would not have been reopened. Thank you Lady Blue. You are a true friend to Petsburgh and I don't know what I would do without you.
Petsburgh Founder,
Servo
If I could have a lifetime wish,
And dreams that could come true,
I would pray to God, with all my heart,
For yesterday and you.
A thousand prayers can't bring you back,
I know because I've tried,
And neither will a million tears,
I know because I've cried.
You left behind my broken heart,
And happy memories too,
But I never wanted memories,
I only wanted you.

A Bridge Called Love
It takes us back to brighter years,
to happier sunlit days
and to precious moments
that will be with us always.
And these fond recollections
are treasured in the heart
to bring us always close to those
from whom we had to part.
There is a bridge of memories
from earth to Heaven above...
It keeps our dear ones near us
It's the bridge that we call love.
The cat family of Sir Wally, who was
there to greet Lady Blue with love
Lady Blue was loved by everyone who knew her. She lived up to her name and was a lady through and through - always kind, thoughtful and helpful. She made many contributions to the cat groups she joined. She'll be missed by all.
My purrs go out to her Meowmie and her family.
Most sincerely, Freya

With much love and soft purrs going out to you....
