It is with a very sad heart that I say farewell
to an old friend. Queen Midnight has been a part
of my life since 1998 when I first got active in
cat clubs. At the time I became aware of her, I
was just new to the internet and the BFCC and
entered my very first Halloween Costume Contest.
I won prizes and had so much fun, but ohhhh, I
was so impressed by Queen Midnight and I wanted
so much to join Claw, but was afraid I wasn't
important enough to be accepted. It took me a
couple months to get up the nerve to join, but
join I did, and that was the beginning of a very
special and wonderful time. I was so in awe of
Queen Midnight, when she spoke I listened, when
she requested something, I was right there if I
could help. I was given so many wonderful
opportunities to express myself.
She let me lead a college, then rebuild the
sports college which was my very favorite of all,
I lead the Zine, Kittengarten, DayCare and
different groups throughout the years, always
with her encouragement and always with her
blessing. If there was anyone in the world I
wanted to impress it was Queen Midnight, and I
did strive to do just that.
When Day-Late asked me to be his wedwink, I had
to muster up the nerve to ask Queen Midnight to
officiate at the ceremony, which she accepted
gladly. She has been such a wonderful influence
on me and my life, that it is going to be hard
for me to say goodbye.
So with my eyes full of tears, and a heart that
is breaking, I say goodbye to my friend . . .
till we meet again.
Sad Purrs,
Jessie

It's
very hard for me to say goodbye
to Queen Midnight. She has been
a wonderful mentor and a good
friend. I do not have the words
so I borrow them from this song.

Our family was deeply saddened to hear the news that Queen Midnight went to Rainbow Bridge. Queen Midnight was always a strong, dedicated, and giving cat. Our family sends comforting purrs and our condolences to Cindy. We will miss Queen Midnight very much.
Healing Purrs,
Mom Andrea, Luckie, Cleopatra, Gizmo, Prissy
